“The Grotto holds a certain raw allure, its rooms carved into the coastline offering a bracingly unique perspective on the North Sea. While the embrace of the natural cave environment can lend an atmosphere of dampness and perhaps a stray cobweb, it undeniably contributes to a singular experience, especially when paired with chef Steve's generous seafood portions or Blake's attentive bar service. I found myself wishing for a longer stay, captivated by the wild beauty right outside the door and the promise of further exploration of its subterranean dining spaces.”
